Dan Hicks's Profile and Contact Information
After graduating from Texas Tech in December 2007, Dan kicked off his career at Fidelity Investments. Two weeks after passing his Series 7, the whole world fell apart. He was on the phones talking to investors while trying to make sense of the changes to the financial markets taking place before him.
After the dust settled, Dan went on to specialize in high-net worth wealth management. He was studying for the CFP at Southern Methodist University when he took a pivotal ski vacation where he decided to move to Colorado. After a few years of working for Fidelity in Colorado, Dan had the opportunity to sit on a currency trading desk where he helped multinational corporations hedge their currency risk exposure using structured derivatives.
In 2014, he noticed the real estate boom that was taking place in Denver. Being ready for a change, he decided to leave the world of finance and get involved in commercial real estate. For five years, Dan specialized in finding off-market multifamily properties for investors and office tenant representation. After much success in commercial real estate, Dan decided to return to the world of financial services. "After several meetings with Gabe and the Peak Pro Financial team, I immediately recognized the opportunity with their planning model. It was a hard decision but I pulled the trigger and made the jump back into finance.”
